Sinopse
NHA MILA, DE DENISE FERNANDES
Salomé, Mila, está a caminho da Ilha de Santiago, Cabo Verde, para ver o seu irmão cuja vida está presa por um fio. De Lisboa conhece apenas as imediações do aeroporto, até que Águeda a convida a passar as horas da escala em casa dela.
After 14 years away from her homeland, Salomé is forced to return to Cape Verde to see her dying brother. During her stopover at Lisbon airport, Águeda a cleaning lady, recognizes Salomé as Mila, her childhood friend. Águeda invites Salomé to leave the airport and spend the stopover at her home, with the women of her family. The neighborhood transports her on a spiritual journey, whose destination unfurls a painful bond with her homeland.

Along the deep Amazon forest, a film director searches for a language that was imposed to the Indians during the colonization period. Through this mixed language, Nheengatu, and sharing the filming with the local population, the film is built through the meeting of these two worlds.
